SnapMind Text Alerts

SnapMind is a team-management platform for school and club athletic programs. This page describes exactly how SMS text alerts work: how people opt in, what messages they receive, how often, and how to stop them.

What messages we send

Team-operations notifications only, sent by a recipient's own coach or program administrator through SnapMind: game-day and event reminders, schedule changes, practice and lift reminders, attendance and RSVP requests, fee and form reminders, and team announcements. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How people opt in

Every recipient gives express consent inside their own SnapMind account before any text is sent. In the SnapMind console at usesnapmind.com, under Team Setup (Settings) → Text Alerts, the user enters their own mobile number and checks a consent box that is unchecked by default. The consent language shown next to the checkbox is:

Providing a number is never required to use SnapMind, and no one is texted without completing this opt-in. Users can also turn text alerts off at any time on the same settings screen.

Opt-in confirmation message

When a user opts in, the first message they receive is:

Message frequency

Frequency varies with the team's activity (games, practices, announcements). Message and data rates may apply.
